This Chrome Extension ("Magic Tarot - Daily Divination", "the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we handle information when you use our extension.

Information Collection

This Extension does not collect or store any personal information on external servers. Specifically:

No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information.
No Tracking: We do not use analytics, tracking cookies, or any form of user behavior monitoring.
No Payments: The Extension and all its features are completely free. There are no in-app purchases, license codes, or payment flows.
Limited External Communication: The Extension operates primarily locally. External communication only occurs when you explicitly use the AI feature, and the request is sent directly to the AI service provider configured by you.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API and localStorage:

Reading History: Your tarot reading history is saved locally to allow you to review past readings.
Settings: Your preferences (selected deck, language, sound settings) and optional AI configuration are saved locally.

This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to the developer, and can be cleared by uninstalling the extension or using the "Clear History" function within the extension.

Permissions

The Extension requests the following permissions:

storage: Used exclusively to save your preferences and reading history locally on your device.
host_permissions: https://*/*: Required only when you enable and use the AI feature, so the Extension can connect to the AI service provider and endpoint you configure yourself.

Third-Party Services

This Extension does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking platforms. If you choose to use the AI feature, the Extension communicates directly with the AI service provider and endpoint you configure (for example, OpenAI, DeepSeek, or any OpenAI-compatible service). Your AI API key and requests are sent directly to that provider and are not routed through or stored on the developer's servers.

Children's Privacy

This Extension does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the policy text and the "Last Updated" date.
